Right first time! From 6 to 8 June, “Fresatura Show” made its debut at the Vicenza Expo Centre and the Vicenza Convention Centre. The leading trade fair of this industry in Italy filled Hall 7 with the top-tier companies in the production and distribution of machine tools, accessories and professional technological solutions for milling and for end-user companies in the industry. The event also featured a series of technical and scientific meetings and seminars. This new event was brought to Vicenza by DF Edizioni.
Why host the "Fresatura Show" in Vicenza?
"We are talking about a niche fair, with great verticality. We chose Vicenza because of its location in the centre of the Northeast, in an area with a high concentration of industrial districts. The expo centre is also well served and easily reachable by a target of visitors who we knew come mostly from North and Central Italy".
Functional spaces for a “bulky” fair
“Given the characteristics of the industry, Fresatura Show was going to be a ‘bulky’ fair. The exhibitors rolled out large-sized machinery. It was a real challenge on a logistical level that we faced and overcame thanks to a co-design process with the IEG operators that allowed us to make the spaces accessible and functional. Hall 7 proved to be highly flexible, as well as modern, bright and aesthetically beautiful”.
At the service of exhibitors and visitors
“The first edition of any trade show is like a start-up, which needs to be supported. For this reason, we relied on the IEG team for the set-up and catering services. They supported us in our project with their expertise and together we developed an event that got so much positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors”.
And next: “Lathing in Vicenza”!
“The closing of the first edition of Fresatura Show wasn’t a goodbye to Vicenza. The city, the structure and the people we worked with have in fact reinforced an idea that we already had in mind: to stage another highly specialised trade show here, which we have been organising since 2019 and which fits perfectly into the productive fabric of the territory. That’s why next June we will be in Vicenza with the third edition of ‘Tornitura Show’”.
