FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD TO VICENZA - An all-round experience for 400 participants
Graphene Week 2025, Europe's longest-running international graphene conference, was held in Vicenza, a UNESCO World Heritage City, and in our conference centre from 22 to 26 September 2025. Participants were offered a work agenda combined with a social programme rich in local experiences that really appealed to the guests.
A WHOLE TEAM WORKING TO CREATE A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE
The conference activities involved the entire city of Vicenza. The opening ceremony was held at the Teatro Olimpico, the work of the famous architect Andrea Palladio, where the institutional welcome was followed by a theatrical performance in English, specially created for the international guests. The evening closed with an exclusive aperitif in Piazza dei Signori, under the portico of the Palladian Basilica, accompanied by live jazz music. To make the experience in the Vicenza destination easy and enjoyable, delegates were provided with airport transfers and shuttle services around the city, a dedicated hotel booking service and a gala dinner for the 400 guests in a venue near the conference centre.

"The conference truly put our flexibility to the test: from adapting and customising internal spaces to developing creative proposals for ‘off-site’ events. At the ViCC, we enhanced foyers and meeting rooms by bringing in greenery and transforming the bar into a large interactive area where delegates could relax, play table football or ping-pong, or work from smart stations. The restaurant was also converted into a meeting space, and the terrace became a natural setting for networkings It wasn’t simply a matter of providing standard conference services; instead, we worked side by side with the organiser as a real team, facilitating relationships and services throughout the destination and ensuring an experience that combined scientific rigour, operational efficiency and human warmth".
